THE WINDOWS INSPECTOR

The Windows Inspection Tool Set (WiTS) shows the current services dan processes, hardware, installed drivers, network connections and printers. You can call up the tool by clicking on the taskbar after the installation is complete.



TIPS1 - WiTS has separate command line. Enter "help" in order to learn more about the four most important commands. Further information and application examples can be obtained by clicking on "See details command line help".

QUICK CLEANER

Safarp loads a listof installed programs in a few milliseconds, where Windows takes an eternity for the same. Removing the same goes equally faster. Simply select the applictaion and click on "Remove". When it comes to operation, the cool has only the most important functions.


TIP1 - You can save the list of installed software as an HTML, an RTF or a CSV file via "Program | Save list as".

Bring along your PC

Mojopac selectively packs Windows and all its appkucations on a USB stick or iPos. This whole package is later started as a virtual PC on any other running computer having Windows XP, provided you have the administration rights. Do note that the software only supports USB 2.0 compatible sticks. The virtual PC itself requires 128MB plus the memory space for the installed applications. And if you want take along the entire Microsoft Office 2003 with you, be prepared to make space for another 600 MB to the current 128 MB.





TIP1 - The exchange of data between the virtual and the PC is possible only through the "MojoPac Data Copy Wizard".


TIP2 - Optimize the USB stick for MojoPac. Plug in the device fir this and wait until Windows identifies it. Now don't start the virtual PC, but open "My Computer" instead. Right-click in the "hardware" tab and then click on "Properties". Activites the "Enable for performance" option under "Policies". The virtual PC will now work faster.


TIP3 - If you want to switch back to the normal XP interface, click on "Switch to host" at the top border. The "Switch to Mojo" option will get you back to the virtual PC.


TIP4 - Install MojoPac directly on the USB sticks. This option is available in the setup. When you come to "Choose your MojoPac", select "Freedom". The deluxe version is not free. Ensure that all the data available on the medium is deleted. An iPod, for instance, loses its Apple-specific features through the MojoPac.
