Bring along your PC

Mojopac selectively packs Windows and all its appkucations on a USB stick or iPos. This whole package is later started as a virtual PC on any other running computer having Windows XP, provided you have the administration rights. Do note that the software only supports USB 2.0 compatible sticks. The virtual PC itself requires 128MB plus the memory space for the installed applications. And if you want take along the entire Microsoft Office 2003 with you, be prepared to make space for another 600 MB to the current 128 MB.

TIP1 - The exchange of data between the virtual and the PC is possible only through the "MojoPac Data Copy Wizard".

TIP2 - Optimize the USB stick for MojoPac. Plug in the device fir this and wait until Windows identifies it. Now don't start the virtual PC, but open "My Computer" instead. Right-click in the "hardware" tab and then click on "Properties". Activites the "Enable for performance" option under "Policies". The virtual PC will now work faster.

TIP3 - If you want to switch back to the normal XP interface, click on "Switch to host" at the top border. The "Switch to Mojo" option will get you back to the virtual PC.

TIP4 - Install MojoPac directly on the USB sticks. This option is available in the setup. When you come to "Choose your MojoPac", select "Freedom". The deluxe version is not free. Ensure that all the data available on the medium is deleted. An iPod, for instance, loses its Apple-specific features through the MojoPac.
